On November 9th, 2021, China canned food technology development and innovation forum was jointly hosted by China Canned Food Industry Association and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd. in Shanghai. The experts and representatives from governmental authorities, key enterprises in the industry, focused on the theme Innovation, Promotion, Improve efficiency, respectively delivered keynote speech about technological innovation, saving energy &reducing consumption, and domestic canned market development etc. This meeting was aimed to promote China canned food industry for high quality development. The conference was hosted by Chaoxi, the secretary-general of CCFIA.

The director-general of CCFIA, Liu Youqian made a speech with the title technological advancement and innovation lead high quality development in canning industry. Director Liu pointed straightly at pain point across the industry while development facing the internal and external situation, also, he put forward that only if we burst through old concept, rebuild industrial value by technological advances and innovation, will the industry break the bottleneck of development, to drive the canning industry for high-quality development.
