The third session of the fifth presidents’ council meeting of CCFIA in Guangzhou was held successfully

The third session of the fifth presidents’ council meeting was successfully convened on April 8, 2021 in Guangzhou which was hosted by China Canned Food Industry Association and undertaken by Guangzhou Eagle-Coin Food Group Co., Ltd. And the meeting was chaired by Youqian Liu, the president-general of CCFIA.

Jianxiong Zheng, the CEO of Guangzhou Eagle-Coin Food Group Co., Ltd., welcomed the delegates, expressed gratitude to CCFIA for providing platform of industrial communication. He introduced development of company, characters of products, and future directions, hoping the enterprises strengthen cooperation, exchange of needed good, go forward hand in hand under the leadership of CCFIA to boost canning industry development, wished the meeting a complete success as well.

The secretary-general and vice director-general of CCFIA reported 2020 year-end summary & 2021 priority guidance,and 2020 finances respectively.

Nan Lin, the CEO of Linjia Puzi Food Co. from Dalian, made report combining domestic market with the title ‘Point view of Industry pain and killing pain to move forward’, concerned some shortage of industrial development such as scale, balance, labor etc., meanwhile, proposed creative ideas of canned products development in domestic market.

Huiming Shang, the CEO of Qingdao Countree Food Co. Ltd gave a talk with the theme of ‘Under domestic and international double cycles, considerate Chinese canned industrial development’. He specifically analyzed current development of global main canned markets and proposed important advice of development in the international market.

The president-general Youqian Liu expressed gratitude to Eagle-Coin for meeting support, clearly stated 2021 preparatory work of association re-election. Introduced scheme which titled ‘Build industrial brand of Chinese canned food 3 years specialized action plan’ which was aimed at creating ‘nutritious, healthy, fashionable, and trend’ atmosphere for public opinion among domestic market to forge canned consumer culture, realize transition of domestic & export sale, greatly increase domestic average consumption, support simultaneous development in domestic & overseas market. Furthermore, the industry came to an agreement that popularizing western consumption concept is essential, the whole industry would be devoted to eliminate the canned food prejudice of consumers.

In the end, the delegates discussed about ‘action plan’ and offered their own opinions and suggestions.
